MARIA TAYLOR

Maria Taylor is a singer-songwriter celebrated for her hushed vocals, cinematic atmospheres, and emotionally resonant storytelling — both as a solo artist and as a founding member of Azure Ray. Her forthcoming album, Story’s End, unfolds like a hazy, widescreen narrative, with each song acting as a chapter tracing love, loss, fracture, and the quiet search for solace in the aftermath. Written over several years and shaped by profound personal upheaval, the record finds Taylor expanding the signature elements of her work — bell-like piano, sweeping strings, and intimate lyricism — into something more nuanced, expansive, and ultimately life-affirming. Recorded between her California home studio and ARC Studios in Omaha, Story’s End features collaborations with Mike Mogis, Ben Brodin, Brad Armstrong, Conor Oberst, Nate Walcott, and others. The album gradually arrives at a fragile but powerful sense of transformation and hope. At once journal-like and cinematic, Story’s End offers listeners a space for reflection and consolation, paying close attention to the fleeting moments that quietly give life its meaning.Maria recently sang harmonies on three songs on Phoebe Bridgers’ last record. She sang on her John prine cover “summer’s end” and the last few years she toured the US, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand playing drums for Bright Eyes.

DILETTANTE

Dilettante is the art-pop brain-child of multi-instrumentalist and former BC Camplight member Francesca Pidgeon. Based in the North of England but performing UK-wide and internationally Dilettante has supported the likes of Caribou, Self Esteem + Philip Selway (Radiohead) with her intricately looped sax and fuzzy guitar riffs. They have sold out headline shows across England plus festival appearances at SXSW (Texas, US), Pop Montreal, NXNE (Toronto), Kendal Calling, Deershed, Live at Leeds, Manchester Jazz Festival, Focus Wales and The Great Escape.Dilettante's sophomore album 'Life of The Party' was released in Jan 2025 on EMI North and received plaudits and live sessions from 6Music DJs Marc Riley, Huw Stephens and Iggy Pop, amongst others.

SOLOMON HUGHES

Solomon's music puts every corner of his mind on display. His confessional lyricism and earworm melodies make for deeply thoughtful storytelling. Supported by timeless, melodic guitar riffs reminiscent of Sam Fender or Fleetwood Mac, his approach to indie rock is simple yet powerful. Live, he moves from intimate and vulnerable ballads to intense indie rock riffs without losing the thread. Fans of Phoebe Bridgers, The 1975 and Flyte will feel at home in the room, yet there is something for everyone in the crowd.
